A new service Bio Recovery Canada now offers is: Rx Incineration Prescription Incineration is also available from Bio Recovery Canada Destroying old Rx files has always been a problem for many pharmacists especially with those gummy lables involved that stick to shredder blades and when to do it and what to do with them. With the advent of the new "Privacy Act" due diligence is more paramount than before so why shred when you can incinerate? Bio Recovery Canada can collect all your old prescription files that are taking up that much needed space in your storage area. We will weigh them in-store and charge the same rate as the bio waste. They are then placed in the hoppers on the truck for incineration (not shredding). By incinerating your old files you are destroying all information and not just cutting it into small pieces. They will be incinerated at the biomedical waste incinerator ensuring "all" information has been destroyed. | |
